Psychology Business Incubator (PBI) Members Meetup

Wednesday, 3rd September • 4:00 PM • Zoom Meeting • Members Only •  Facilitated by Alan Bradshaw (PBI Founder & CEO)

 

Join fellow Psychology Business Incubator members for an interactive meetup focused on our new Opportunities stream, paid projects you can take on or offer to the community. Alan will outline how Opportunities work and how to get involved, followed by networking to connect with peers (format depends on attendance).

This is for PBI members only. Membership is free untill 2026 and aimed at psychologists in or exploring business, psychology students, and founders of psychology-based businesses. If you’re not a member, apply to join first and book only after you receive your welcome email.

Tickets: Choose General Admission (free) or Donation (optional). Donations, of any size, help cover Incubator startup costs and are warmly appreciated.

 

Let’s Talk Sleep! with Sleep Better Doctor, Dr Jill McGarry

Friday, 12th September • 3:00 PM •  Webinar (Zoom) • Members & Guests • Facilitated by Dr Jill McGarry (Clinical Psychologist) and  Alan Bradshaw (PBI Founder & CEO)

This session, rescheduled from 6 June due to tech issues, dives into the science of sleep and practical ways to improve it. Ideal for anyone who struggles to fall or stay asleep, and for leaders interested in performance, fatigue management, and wellbeing at work.

What we’ll cover

  • How much sleep is “enough”?

  • Why sleep matters (health & wellbeing impacts)

  • What’s happening while you sleep

  • “Sleep hygiene”: what it is and why it helps

  • The link between sleep and business performance

  • Plus a live Q&A to get answers to your specific questions.

Dr Jill McGarry is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with ~30 years in the NHS, Jill specialises in sleep and now runs Sleep Better Doctor, supporting individuals and organisations through coaching, clinics, and workshops. Her training includes programmes from Oxford University’s SCNI, Sleep Unlimited, and BSM seminars. She’s delivered sleep education across healthcare and industry, and regularly appears on webinars, conferences, and podcasts.
