About Alan Bradshaw

Alan’s a business psychologist who’s been around the block. For over 30 years, he’s built and run several psychology-based businesses, mostly around stress, workplace wellbeing, and mental health. He’s also a partner in one of the UK’s biggest Occupational Health Consultancies.

He's worked with some pretty big names, easyJet, BAE Systems, the Ministry of Defence, the Health and Safety Executive, and DWP. His work’s taken him across loads of sectors too: universities, local councils, defence, utilities, petrochemicals, biosciences, telecoms, NHS, education, tech, government departments, and a whole bunch of SMEs.
These days, Alan’s main focus is supporting others who want to build something of their own. He mentors a bunch of people in the workplace wellbeing world and is big on helping ideas grow legs.
He’s also the Deputy Chair of William Simpsons, a social care charity that looks after adults with mental health challenges linked to substance use. He chairs their Care Committee and leads on wellbeing risk strategy for residents and staff. It’s important work, and he’s proper proud of it.
